Hayden Sirr was born on 9-15-2012. At birth, he only had two visible scabs. The doctors and nurses had no idea what was wrong with him. Hayden was transferred to Loma Linda Childrens Hospital in Southern California. At two weeks old, he was diagnosed with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). Although Recessive is known to be a more severe form of EB, Hayden has a more mild case than most. However, he still struggles day to day with getting around, with blisters on his knees, feet, hands, and arms. Throughout everything Hayden goes through, he still manages to smile and laugh!
